American College of Counselors

The American College of Counselors, Inc. (ACC), chartered in April, 1984 is a capstone, inter-disciplinary collegial organization composed of counselors, marriage and family therapists, pastoral counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and other mental health professionals.

The mission of the ACC is to strengthen individuals, marriages, and family relationships through the counseling process, while adhering to high ethical standards.

The ACC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization with oversight provided by a Board of Governors.  ACC promotes competent counseling by certifying those who meet high standards of education, supervision, and experience.
